New 850 Sportsman???
My dealer was the twin cities at the Polaris hdqs. this weekend and saw 2 atvs. One was a 500 with a new frontend with tubular steel racks, and get this the other had a-arm frontend with a lightweight looking chassis. He got close to see that it was a 850. I know more....

New 850 Sportsman???
their macphearson strut contract might have ran out, and since Polaris is apparently dropping Sachs for their shock development and moving into a full partnership with Fox, that might be the reason.
if polaris does infact drop MacPhearson for a double A arm with Fox shocks, it could end up being a spectacular set up.

New 850 Sportsman???
The 850 didn't have clutches...no clutch cover. He said it kinda resembled a Honda rubicon from what he could see...hydraulic??? had the same look as the Honda. They were loading them up to go test. They were almost kinda guarded...he was afraid to snap a pic. The 500 still had struts and same chassis just a made over front end with tubular racks. He thinks maybe the current sportsmans 450, 500, 700, 800 will be in same chassis, just cosmetically changed for 07. But he definately saw the 850 with dual A-arm front suspension, lighweight looking tubular frame and some kinda hydraulic type trans,clutch...no belt!
