MV 7
This was brought up in another thread so I figured that I would jump in here. I spent most of 2004-2005 in Afghanistan. I worked with some Polaris' while there. I saw some milspec models, a 6x6 Sportsman, and a couple of SP700 carbs. All of them were tough as nails. The "MV7" was a real workhorse. I saw them carry probably 150% of what they were rated for and never saw one suffer a catastrophic failure. I nearly bought an MV7 when I got home, if for no other reason, just for the nostalgia of owning one. I simply just didn't need that much bike. If I were a rancher or even a farmer, I would have bought one in a heart beat. I hope that you guys enjoy them.

thanks for the observations lawdog. and thank you for ur service! On my MV there are 4 threaded ports on the front deck and 4 along the rear deck. I wonder what Uncle Sam had in mind for these. Gotta be some sort of hard mount for a cargo rack? I've looked all over for pix of the active duty configuration w/ no luck. got pix? Its a beefy rig for sure, however, not a lot of OEM storage space, other than adding some nylon bags.

Are these threads at each corner of the decks?
