new 2005 Scram price
#1
I've been looking around for a new quad for a while now. The Polaris dealer here only has one new 2005 Scrambler. (no 06's) They are asking $5800 for it. They are not charging anything other than tax and register so OTD would be $6200. I really like the Scram as it is 4x4 but still a little on the sporty side, and not quite a ute. would $6200 be a good price for a new '05?
also, I've been reading and saw that the stock wheels on the Scrambler are a little weak and the chain tends to pop off while taking bigger sized jumps. does anyone have/had a problem with the concentric chain system or strength of stock wheels? if so any fix for the chain?
thanks much in advance for any info/advice!

Keep your chain adjusted or put on a chain tensenor and you wont have any problems jumping. The wheels are as good as any stock wheels but a good set of alluminum ones lighten it up some and look better.

thanks for the repy. i'd wait until the stock wheels are pretty dinged up to get new ones. The chain tensioner would go on first thing though.

my 04 cost about 6 grand total when we bought it..so that doesnt sound rediculous? it's bran new and we bought mine during a sale
i have ITP aluminum rim's on mine and i like them, going w/a full tire and rim set up gives the quad a good look plus it will lighten them up like ftwflh said
i just put itp holeshot HD's on there about a month ago now and they rip on the trails

Think it would be more like 500-600 but the quad is yours for 4800. Just added a pic to my page.
