i am looking in to geting a used preditor 500 and i want to know if ther is anything wrong with them i know that thay leak oil in to the filter when tiped up on the grab bar but dose it do that when it's running or when you are doing a wheely and i have herd that thay are hard to do wheelys on are thay and if so how hard and are thay good jumpers i don't jump anything big but like to do it and how much faster is it than my 400ex

 

You're alot better off going to predatorowners.com to get the answers you're looking for. They're very easy to wheelie, i have no idea who is telling you they don't wheelie well. oh and every quad will spew oil where it shouldn't when you turn it upside down lol


They have the strongest stock axle of any sport quad so that should tell you how well they jump.

 

its also warrentied for life, so if you break it, polaris will give you a new one - free

 

mainly i just want to know if thay are well balenced in mid air

 

it is for me, the world record jump is held on a Predator

Atleast I think it still is, I know the Germans did it so I wouldent be suprised if its still held

what was almost 2 years ago tho, that record might be broken?? u'd think it would of been on a YFZ or somethin like that tho, w.e ur driving it'd take some nuts to hit that

 

I feel sorry for that predator, thats like it getting dropped out of an airplane and the suspension having to absorb 100% shock. I bet the frame was cracked in several places after that
