Default 2005 sportsman 500HO stalling problems

I have about 20 hrs on my 05 sportsman and I am having problems with it stalling when I come off of full throttle. Only seems to happen when I let off the gas after punching it. Called the dealer and they said it is probably just a tune up issue. Does anyone else have this problem. Thinking it is either a carb. problem or the ECS. Thanks for any help you can provide.

It idles at about 1200 rpm. I will look at the throttle cable and see if some slack can be taken out of it. Thanks.

Maybe the cable is not returning to the idle spot quick enough. This would simulate a broken cable, if this happens, there is a kill switch under the throttle cover that will activate. To check this out, remove the cover and make it stall. When it dies, look in to see if the contacts are touching! If touching, sticking cable. If not, keep searching! Good Luck!
