For those of you having problems with a cv joint, ect. I just busted one of my front cv joints on my 2000 sportsman 500. For just the cv joint polaris wants around 180.00 bucks for the joint, then another 25.00 for the boot outfit. For the entire cv joint and axle it was 320.00. I found a driveline place that rebuilt my cv joint for 55.00 bucks. Just thought I would let some people know to save you a few bucks if your cv joint is not beyond rebuilding, it sure saves a lot of money. The polaris shop tried to tell me I was better off just buying the entire complete axle assembly when my axles are like brand new, there is not even any wear on the splines.
