Actually. I was just joking. Its all in good fun. I wont lie, im used to Polaris leading the pack, so of course im just a little envious that Bomb came out of nowhere last year and took our throne of speed and power. But nothing like you're saying. I dont like all the cockiness of some of the people in Bomb. But thats it. No hard feelings.

I don't know what the changes will be, but I'm betting they are drastic. I'm new to Polaris, but I learned last week when I bought the new SP 450 that they have a "BIG" promotion. The only reason a company does this is to clear the showrooms. This usually means the new models have mucho changes. At my local dealer they sold SP 500s for $4699. I could've bought the 450 for $4399 if I had went a week earlier. As it was I paid 4699. One of the partners bought all that was left after the sale and sold them for 300 over what he gave. I could've bought the 500 for 300 more at 4999. They told me that Polaris gave them $1000.00 per unit as a rebate to them. They just discounted the bikes and sold the heck out of them. On Friday evening one of the partners bought was was sitting there. He took the 300 over what he gave and the business still got the 1000 per unit. During this sale they even bought out 4 other dealerships inventory of Sportsman. SUMPIN IS UP!

I don’t know anything about what Polaris has coming out. But a change in transmissions to something like Honda would be a step in the right direction. Also a new front drive system my keep me interested in Polaris atv’s. Otherwise I’m gone!
I believe that their belt system and Hilliard hubs were adequate for machines up to the 500 class; the bigger more powerful machines need a redesign.
A V twin engine would really be a plus along with these updates…………..anyone listening!!

79Oakly,
I'm sorry to say, I have no idea about the Scrambler. I only looked at the Sportsman. The sales mgr. offered up that info that I relayed to the board. I guess he had to explain why these few machines were out by the fence and not in the show room. I was only there a couple of hours.
