Default polaris radiator

i have been looking at the 2006 sportsman and they look nice exept for the radiator location. We get into a lot of mud down here in south florida and I wonder if that doesnt get the air blocked off quickly to the radiator that would then cause heat problems.thanks in advance.

Default polaris radiator

basicly if your rad gets plugged w/ mud you will overheat. i ride in alot of mud up hear as well and go thru some water which is the saving grace i beleave because it helps clean out the mud a little. it is a low location and you do have to worry about being a problem. but i ride w/ a couple of b.forces 650,and 750 and we went on one of those mdu days and both the b.f had over heating problems but i didnt and went thru the same stuff.

If you ride alot of mud. Your best bet is to move the radiator to the front rack.
