scrambler 90 sucked in water

Thanks for all the replies. Its all dried out and still no spark. The whole coil assembly including the cap for the spark plug has been tried. If I do need the CDI fastest dad, I'll get a price from you before I buy a new one.

the stator on these litle quads are notorious for going bad if you get them wet (been there, done that). if you do that seach i mentioned, spike gives detailed instructions for testing the stator, cid, and coil, plus a lot of other great info. he got me going! up too you

Thanks, looking through the data now, lots of good info. Pulled out my DVM, but the batteries toasted inside, best use date was 1990!!! Obviously haven't had it out in awhile. Hopefully I can clean it up and put it to use testing the quad. As always, excellent help here on the forum.

Finally bought a new DVM and the stator tested bad on one winding based on the info greg pointed me to that spike99 posted. I have the stator and gear puller on order and hope to have it fixed next week. I've begun posting questions on my 90 over in the kids quad forum, lots of info there on that size quad.
