Compression ratio`s & race gas.

How high of compression can you go without needing to run race gas?
Also will a 1 point gain in compression be worth a little hp. I think the Scrambler 500 has 10.5 to 1 stock, I`m guessing I would need race gas at 12 to 1 plus lose reliability possibly. So would 11.0 or 11.5 to make a difference? Will be adding a cam at the same time.
