Default The magic yellow button

Hi Gang.

I was just at my dealers and he told me the yellow button has the ability to swap between miles and kilometers. Anyone know the press combination to make that happen?

Are there any more easter eggs in that button?

I know it locks in 4x4 for reverse and toggles all the HUD info.

Cheers
d

Read your owners manual. The step by step procedure is in there. There are a few bits of troubleshooting info, and you can set miles/km and your service interval.

Try checking out pages 43 and 44 in your manual. I think this is what you are looking for. If you just hit the button while the machine is running it will change between hours and miles. It won't change between km and miles. Hope this helps.

Go to the Polaris web site, register, go to the riders section and you can download the manual.

I tried to make the link active but I couldn't figure how to do it. Just cut and paste.

Put your machine in neutral.
Set the parking brake.
hold down the override button. keep it down
turn the key on.

Next screen you will see (at least with mine is ) V2.21 software.
It will scroll thru a few different settings. When you come to the MP/KM screen to switch between kilos and mph I believe you hold down the override button and it will toggle over to KMH.. TO exit the screen just shut the key off.

If you screw up the above steps and cant get into the screen, try turning off your machine for a good 15 seconds and try it again..

Thats how you do it on my 2006...
