We'll I now have a working oil pressure guage and it's peaked my intrest becasue after a good long run. 40 min or so my bile is only producing like 10 PSi of oil pressure at idle. I read the service manual and it states that you should have about 39 PSI at 45 or 55k RMPs (don't recall at this min). I'm fine when the bike revs I just don't like that real low oil pressure at idle. I'm currently running Amsoil 0W40 and a donaldson oil filter. I may get a popo OE oil filter to see if that's the issue but I'm still a bit worried about 10 PSi of oil at 1100 RPM. Anyone see similar behavior with there bikes.

Well that make me feel a bit better but it doens not make since to have the oil pressure so low at idle. But the pressure guages don't lie so at least I have a second confirmation that my #s are correct. THX
