Default updated scrambler headlights..

it all started with my buddy wrecking his 05 sportsman. he needed to replace his whole front end. in turn, he replaced the front lights too...so he gave me the old ones. so i decided to create something different for my scrambler.

i bent up and welded a cage made of 3/8 aluminum rod, and mounted it all up in the stock headlight location. i wanted to make it look like the stock headlight cage so that it would look like factory issue. i think it updates the scrambler quite a bit. i guess you can be the judge.

i realize that it is pretty different looking and the polaris diehards might not like it. but thats ok... but i thought i would share it at least.

heres a link to check out with some decent pics:

Who cares what the rest of the polaris boys think. I think you did an AWESOME job. It looks perfect!!!

I have a 2005 Honda 300EX that I just bought. I am thinking about doing the same thing basically. Dual headlights. I'll make mine with stainless rod though probably.

GREAT LOOKING JOB

Really....
Care to make me a set ??

Looks excellent man! You did a real good job. Nothing like a custom job... I like the rest of your quad too! All badass,

Zach

thanks guys, i appreciate it...

the stock 800 lights only come with 37.5w bulbs, i bumped that up to 50w and wow! what an improvement over stock! they are way brighter and offer up a broader spectrum of light.

i got to test them out last weekend on a nite ride. i was very happy.

well unfortunately, the only bulbs that fit into those housings are standard fog light bulbs. and i havent ever seen any with hi/low filaments in them. so i just bought the brightest i could get,50w. and its wired into my hi beam accessory port under the hood.
