X2 rear box/bag

Good looking machine! I been looking at the X2 as a future purchase. What kinda price did you get on the limited edition vs the Delux red version at your dealership?
I ride a 05 500 HO Red now with over 3000 miles.
Mac The Red Rhino
05 500 HO
Warn winch
Polaris: front & rear bumpers, hard rear box and hot grips & thumb
Quadavator's: temp gauge, override switch, mirror mount and three headlight conversion

Hello all. I just wanted to thank everyone for their input on the cargo box features, but I wanted to inform everyone the project was dropped as Polaris doesn't plan to sell enough of the model to justify the cost of the tooling etc. for a cargo box for this model. Thanks again and hope everyone has a Happy Holidays.

Maybe Polaris is planning to make a "real 2-up" that can compete with the Max and the TRV.
The X2 is a great machine, but with that stock passenger seat it's not a great 2-up.
Isn't it strange? The biggest potential growth market for utility quads, at least in my area, is the 2-up. And Polaris decided to continue with the less then successful ATP concept, with the 2-up feature being an after thought!
ATV Magazine, a few months back, compared it with the Max and TRV, and the X2 just didn't measure up as a 2-up.
Polaris needs to fix that passenger seat if it wants to keep Can-Am at bay.
Dropping the box project may suggest they will make a touring version - making it unnecessary to design something for the existing box! We can only hope!
