Looking to buy this bike for kids and wife my question is we do go to the dunes and I wanted to know how they are in the sand it would be mostly a cruiser I know it weighs more than my predator and Z-400 but having a 4x4 in the family would be cool I would appreciate some info

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

You get a 500 Scrambler for the wife and kids and you do the right mods to it they will be riding your 400Z and your Pred while you blast away onthe Scrammy
The 500s are great in dunes and trails even with the stock 489 tires.

I spend at least 1 weekend a month in the dunes, year round. You'll love the scrammy in the dunes. Especially since its for your wife, if she gets stuck..... just switch it to awd and reverse out.... No tuggin', no yankin'. The only problem I have with mine in the dunes is the front tires have too much bite.
