slipping

Default slipping

i have a 2004 sp400, is their any thing i can do to make it not feel like the belt is slipping when you give it gas,i just had new clutches put in,and i don't want to put the heel clicker clutch kit back in because i don't like the way it back shifts;any help would be appreciated. wayout,out..................

stupid question i know, but did you put a new belt in as well? did you make sure the set up was right for that bike its on.

the dealer done the job where i bought the atv,new belt and clutches, it not slipping like that, it just that you have to give it so much gas to get it to move, especially when you're on a little bit of a grade,every one i've seen is the same way, the clutch kit i had in it took care of the problem but i didn't like the way it back shifted, i thought you could buy a spring or something and fix it, all well,but any how wayout,out..............

wayout, you can buy a differnt engaugment spring w/ a lower engaugment or lighter weights i beleave and get the result you want. i would look at a differnt primary spring first.

that's exactly what i want,lower engagement,you say try primary first, would you know what color i should try first,and can you buy these from polaris,thanks buddy,wayout,out...............

sorry, i dont know what color you need. see what color is in there now for stock and you should be able to buy ne from polaris or an aftermarket shop.
