The good thing about them is we won't have them much longer, switching to Can Am.
The good thing about the Polaris dealer is we won't have to see him again.

I have an 05 800 with over 300 mi on it. A few probs , melting plastic etc. all repaired under warranty no hassle all fixed no prob. got 20.43 mpg last trip. Great riding quad has taken everything put to it and never even winced. I also have a 1987 Gen I trail boss 250 4x4--never broke, always starts, been up to 10000+ alt, in the forest, in the desert in the water in the heat, in the snow-- minimal maintenance and never once been towed home--so I laugh when I hear that all Polaris' have reliability problems.

love em both, no problems with the scrammy other than normal wear and tear and a few minor probs with the '02 sp700.

Polaris was good to me when i purchased new with lots of freebies etc...

About 50 hours of seat time on my 06 500EFI LE and haven't a complaint about the bike yet really. Not mechanically speaking anyway.

Only issue I have at the moment is the rear left foot well is chafing the LE paint off the rear fender where they meet.

I will know soon enough if I'm happy with my dealer or not, beacause when I call today (about 2 months since I reported the problem) if he doesn't have a resolution on the fender issue I just might drop the bike back on his door step.

That would be my only complaint about the dealer. Very slow in dealing with issues so-far, and with a 6month warranty .. that's not a good thing .. Otherwise, very satisfied with the whole experience.

The only problems I've had with the 3 I own, is the rear brake. I can deal with that. I don't baby these things. I figure they were made to take a beating, so that's what they get. I may tend to do too much maintanence, but I think that may be the reason they have lasted.

Also, have a very good rapport with my dealer.

My dealer is on my good books!

Just called and my new fender is on order. They are also looking into a way to prevent the chafing from re-occuring, since it's the footwell causing the problem. I've seen three LE's and all three have the same problem. It's like the gap isn't maintained on the left footwell like it is on the right. Anyone else notice this on their sportsmans (LE or otherwise?)??
