I dont know Fireslayer. He may be right. I mean, Polaris threw that 800 out pretty quick in '05. As soon as Kawasaki announced their 750, BOOM Polaris comes out with their 800(760) to top them. And i didnt hear any rumors of that. I've heard more rumors about KTM than i did about the 800 coming in '05. So who knows. And remember just a few weeks ago, NO ONE, knew what was coming out for Yamaha. Alot assumed it would be the 700EFI but their was no trace or information to back it up. No one knew until it was confirmed. SO YOU NEVER KNOWWWWWWWWWW.

JJ, maybe they'll suprise us. I'm just not going to hold my breath waiting for it myself though. I'm pretty happy with the 06 700 EFI since I've getting the soft front end deal taken care of. Probably be 2-3 years before I trade up again anyway. My budget can't stand the jar for awhile. Best of luck to those of you who are ready though. Hope they build out something that suits your needs.

it only makes sense to me that if yamaha and can am are going after the sport 4x4 market, theres got to be something to it. and if so, polaris started it anyways with the scrambler. (maybe the rest of the market is just now catching up?) so if that nitche is growing, i find it hard to believe that polaris would just ignore it.

I really couldn't imagine they'd ignore it either scramblerX; I think they're just trying to figure the most economical way to come out with the best kick-a_ _ machine in the class. I think the timing with the KTM aquisition was just off enough to prevent them from getting it all together this season. If Polaris uses the resourses that they now have at their disposal they will be at the front of the pack for sure. I for one would love to see Polaris at the front of the 4x4 classes at the GNCC races. I might even be tempted to try it again myself with the right machine and the right support from Polaris. Only time will tell.

I have to agree with Sportsman600.... nothing major new this year for the 4x4's. On the sport side, no one believes the picture I posted even though it was straight out of a Polaris catalog. Oh well, that's what you get for trying to offer insight.

i was thinking, since polaris has now developed a chain drivin IRS system, wouldent it be a big possibility if polaris were to drop the 525 KTM motor in a scrambler?

Well, i personally think Polaris needs to break the 500cc mark in the sport section. The Scrambler, Predator, and now Outlaw. I think we need one bigger bore, atleast. BUT if all of you say the 525 will take care of buisness, then i guess not.. but still.

you'll have to forgive me Spyder, because in the sport section of atv's, im a noob. But, in a nutshell, how does it make more HP? I just dont see how any 525cc motor could produce as much power?
