Default Automatic AWD

Since yours is an 06 The front hub oil should not require changing and should not be contaminated unless there is another problem. The front only requires changing annually or if you attain the hours on your quad set forth in your maintenance schedule whichever comes first. Now that presumes the right oil was installed from the factory, or by the dealer during any setup or has not been contaminated by some other condition in the hilliard. With that said changing the oil is the cheapest option after you are sure that the electrical system is operating properly. If you do change the oil yourself MAKE SURE you use the proper oil from Polaris so they will not attempt to deny service under the warranty in the event mechanical teardown is required. If you feel the old oil looks or appears otherwise suspect have it analyzed to see if there is identifiable contamination in it. Whew! Now with all that said take it to a dealer and let them have to deal with it under the warranty.

well. When you shift into reverse, the ovveride switch controls all the AWD and the reverse speed limitor..

Check the wiring I would say..
