New guy, got a Scrambler question
#1
Hey guys. New to the forum and I just wanted say whats up. My name is Sean and I have a 2002 Scrambler 500 HO 4x4. Recently I completely submerged my 4 wheeler on accident. Didn't see the drop off. Well needless to say my 4 wheeler was under six feet of water. I got it out and I am flushing out all the fluids. My questions is, is there any type of fluid available for the tranny beseides the 14 dollar stuff at Polaris? I know there has to be an equivilant somewhere that will work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Would not reccomend it. It doesn't take much, and the fluid has to sling up on the upper bearings and chains. If it were too thick, It could cause a failure and that would cause more than 14 dollars in damage

I would buy the Polaris AGL for the price.I have some old non synthetic Polaris gearcase lube I would let go cheap if you are interested pm me.

Thanks for the info guys. I had just enough of the Polaris stuff to fill it up one more time. I am going to go out and run it this weekend and then change it one more time. SHould be nice and clean then.
