Does FRAM have a listing for oil filters for the Polaris sportsmans. I have the 2006 450 motor and wanted to know of other brand filters to use instead of getting them at the dealer.Thanks.....caper.......

Bigdog,

the 1357 is an updated version of the 1356. It has a higher burst strength but dimensionally the 1356 is the same and will work fine.

Just make sure the filters have a check valve in them to keep the oil lines primed

I use K&N oil filters....plus they have a little nut on the end for ease of removal and tightening.

Model number for the filter please. I can't find anything around here but Fram which I'd rather not use. Napa doesn't stock the gold filter here, and can't find anywhere with Wix close.
