Default anyone use pull starter

you'd have to be in low to do it, it would be near impossible in high considering the belt slack

Ljay, I hear you on the Grizzly pull start being nearly impossible to use. I have had to use it once and if it weren't for my buddy who is as strong as a horse I never would have gotten that thing cranked.

It's dangerous for a smaller person to go yanking on that thing. You could definitely hurt your wrist or shoulder.

i feel bad for the boys in the military that had to pullstart the polaris 700 motor

How is mine automatic? It is a pressure relief valve that I "turn" on. Once I do that, I just barely have to pull it. But the problem is if it doesn't start first pull, I have to go back to the other side to "turn" on the valve again. I am glad I haven't had to use mine if it was hot, because it is dangerously close to my dangerously hot header pipe. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]
