whats the difference in brake fluid

Well it boils down to the boiling point
.do a goggle or a search and you will see al the good and bad .
I have stated many times Use what the manufacturer recommends ..Unless you are smarter and have higher degrees then all the engineers that work for that company

Simply put but Dot 4 can replace dot 3 it just has a higehr boiling point. i even belive some of the dot 3 and 4 fluids can be mixed but you ahve to check the bottles to be sure. I don't recall what Polaris recomends but Dot 4 is more expensive and less prone to collect/attract water into your system helping it last longer. I'vd personaly complete flush a dot 3 system at least twice before running it if moving from Dot 4. Stay away for the silicone break fluid it has a tendency to creat leaks because many system do not have compatable rubber components.
