Rear Axle Bearing Dilemma, Need Your Thoughts
#11
Hey everyone. I'd just like to thank you guys for the advice you gave me throughout this issue. Even though the dealer gave me about 65% off of the bill, I was still obviously not happy with how they dealt with this issue. Also, when I got home, I immediately put the grease gun on the rear carrier zirk, and I got about 25 squeezes in before grease came out of the sides of the carrier. I am confident now that the original problem was lack of grease.
I will certainly be avoiding this place in the future...
If anyone is from Southern Minnesota and would like to know where I had this service performed, please feel free to PM or E-Mail me off list...
Thanks again guys!

polaris uses the "you were jumping it" excuse for everything.
25 pumps of grease is a huge amount.
i hate letting folks work on my stuff.
you really cant trust most folks.
good luck.

Next time just buy a billett carrier from RAD MFG. They come in either double roller or tapered roller bearing. Either one for about 229.00 assembeled. They have it for the Scrambler or Preditor.
