polaris 500 efi 2006

i do love polaris but....

i needed to take my batterie off so i sprayed it down with a garden hose. unhooked the rubber clamp and notice a blue plastic top. then took out the batterie and notice three others fall off......!!!!!

i had 4 fall off cuz they were snaped at the top and now noticed it had a little dirt inside with the acid.
someone must have screwd these down way to tight and were at the verge of snapping.i found some other screw in lids to replace on a sunday. i took it back to where i bought it and he checked it out and said it was fine after he tested it. i asked for new tops to match the other ones and said he don't have them extra and these will be fine.

any ideas on this matter with a little dirt inside???espeacialy since i bought it in april and didn't offer to give me a new battery.

other things that are difficult are the racks front and back....hard to hook things up realy bad and no room undernieth to tie or clamp things.
hook a trailer up and the independant suspension goes down when you put a trailer on it.
and the 1 1/2 inch trailer hook up should be standard like 2".
anyone agree with these things??

i custom made my own trail reese hitch receiver and haul my trailer all around w/ no probelm and the irs handles it fine. how much weight to you have on the tongue of the trailer? i think its only rated for 200 Lbs. i also made a custom holder for front and back to hold my coler and 2 gas cans and use the lock in go in front to hold my metal rack on w/ bungie cords. works pretty good.

i like tomount my stuff on the rack so there is no moveing around ar lots of vibrations.

i do lots of food plots for deer and with the seed spreader it does not mount down well at all.

Lock and ride is a bit tough to work around if you did not buy OE. I'd suggest that you make a bracket to you can lock down with some lock and ride pegs and adapt to the current mount of your seeder. This should get you what you need. I also think the rack extenders are a good thing to have. they should give you a place to secure stuff to you rack.

I have seen the Issue with the Battery, they usually happen at time of install or right after the customer has bought it, we just replace the battery under warranty because there are no replacment caps.
Diddo on the tong hitch weight, you may what to stiffin up the tensioners or even get some spring spacers to stiffin them up.
