Default Well,I wrecked it....

Well,I finally wrecked my 94 400l 4x4.Flipped it over 3 times.Knocked me out cold for 20 minutes.Woke up in a ambulance going to hospital.Just a couple of bruises, scrapes, and a tore up atv.The fire department towed it home for me.(They didnt know how to operate it.)The next day I got out and inspected the damages.Bent front and rear racks, damaged gauges, speedometer broke, handlebars bent, bent strut. All the gas leaked out.It ran and drove though.I think I will either sell it and buy a 96 sportsman or sell my 93 350 and buy the 96 sportsman so I have a 2 of these 4x4s.My helmet saved my life when I crashed,it came off as i rolled though.Guess I will go get a new helmet this weekend too.

Thats why I never understood the helmet law here in Pa. Yoiu Dont have to have one to ride a motorcycle on the highway anymore...... That is just stupid, and on the same hand they bust you for not wearing a seatbelt.......

Whats really confusing is the fact that kids on school buses dont have to wear seatbelts. Figure that out.

My opinion most likely won't be supported by anyone on here but I do not think you should be required to wear a helmet on a motorcycle.

With that being said I want everyone to know that I always wear a helmet when on an ATV or motorcycle of any kind. The issue I have with the law is, the person choosing not to wear a helmet is not risking the lives of anyone but his/her self. I think if someone wants to be unsafe, that's their own choice. I also feel the same way about "ADULTS" and seatbelts. If you don't want to wear one you shouldn't have to you are only risking your own life not anyone elses, and I wear my seatbelt as well.

Sorry about hijacking the post. Glad to see you didn't get hurt.

Gald to hear your all right.

First thing to do is buy a new helmet, don't depend on the old one to save you again.

Check your steering stem, if you bent the bars, there's a chance it bent near the top.
