If it's in good shape,it should be at least worth that.Sounds like a good deal.

 

OH,your talking about the 500,o k,the 500 h.o,, is a tough motor but not so powerful (38 hp),it's alot torquey in the low rpm but always flat spots in the higher rpm,,it's a workhorse engine,,but if i were you i've had choosing a 2x4 500 scrambler,,they only made a few of them in 2001 if i remember correctly and they got goods review on handling and performance over the 4x4 as well...
