but i forgot to tell you some major thing about your FTR wich is if i remember correctly a race pipe,so it probably peak in the 7-5,7600 rpm,you' wont be able to turn those rpm with 58 g of weight,i suggest you to drop weight to about 53 g with the secondary suggestions i told you,but as you got a trail port in it,maybe it should even produce even more power with a trail pipe at 6-7,6900 rpm with 56 g of weight,,it's up to you as far what pipe you prefer,but it is very important to run the proper rpm of the pipe wich i'm sure you cant reach with those weight,it also drop the belt in the secondary too fast and make it slip alot,,,i would suggest to call FTR as to known what rpm their pipe run best,you'll able to use the right weight then....

and the .060 over piston decrease peak rpm by a few hundrends,maybe 150-200 rpm for sure....

Thanks again scramblered, I do have the 10-56 weights in now, I just have to change my signature. And I am taching out at 7200 rpm right now. I am going to have Rick or Bubba to race port it this winter.

at 7200 rpm with trail porting seem right,even maybe a little too high,but here is not the question,you need to known where that pipe peak rpm is at,1 g of weight off is about 500 rpm increase,it will be a lot stronger on race ports motion....

hillclimber,,i suggest you even you to get a 40-36 and you'll have good fun with your setup,violet secondary.
54.5 g of weight,
