Gel Battery

I assume that in USA you can buy a Jump Start almost at a drug store but for sure at your Auto Parts store
these have the big claws on them to jump start car when battery flat and normally say 400 Amps Cold Crank
well they have a gel battery inside and because of fierce competition we can buy the whole deal of jump starter with even the volt meter on front for $40 [ie $30 american] whereas to buy battery separate is $60

$90 for what sounds like the 6 AmpHour type is extortion
the one in the jump starters is normally 12 AHours but there is a bigger one at 800 CCA which is 17AHours [at 20 degrees]

The geni is used in movie production....cost($90) is not as big a factor.....the geni is about $7000......+ or -

OK the point was for ATV use just get a jump starter and if you like just strap it as is to rear luggage rack and use the clamps to connect to terminal leads on ATV
but if you want to actually put it in carrier in place of normal battery then it is cheaper to buy the whole lot and chuck the casing etc away than just the nude battery [dont shoot the messenger like]
also a battery as you describe sounds a little light in AmpHours for ATV use, meaning 2 starts and its cactus AND may have trouble accepting charge from alternator so I would recommend using at least the 12AmpHour model [or be sure your pull start works OK]
for mine I have a jump starter in parallel with normal battery so I can run my light and amplifier etc while I fish or BBQ and still be sure of having 12V left to start when the crocs start to appear
