Default concentric chain and sprockets for scrambler

I stripped out my front sprocket yesterday and thank God I didnt bust the transmission case. Now I need an O-ring chain and sprocket set. My 99 is 4x4. Who has the best deals for the kit. Thanks.

Rocky Mt has an X ring chain available for around $50, they said no sprockets that’s what they told me when I called but older ones will fit
buy a chain break and a mini press, Rocky Mt has them for a reasonable priced about $10 and $13 respectively.

Magic Racing carry JK sprockets (13t front $14 / 36t rear $35 ) and have an EK X ring chain for $70 (O ring is $50).

The dealer had nothing but could get it in 1-2 days but at more money for the stock OEM stuff (about $160 total)!

Dennis Kirk has the Regina kit for $143 but would take a week to get in, HSP has about the same kit but with TEAM sprockets for about $142 + s&h.

ScramXrated has been buying the PRIMARY DRIVE brand sprockets and chains from Rocky Mnt. , said they hold up really well, and are very affordable.

the chain is almost always around $50 but the front sprockets are $6.99 and the rears are $14.99.
they don't carry a 36 tooth for some odd reason. but if your 2x4 then you could change ratios.
the chains don't come in the proper length so I always buy the closest thing to what I need and cut it down some.

I ended up getting the JT Hi-Tensile steel sprockets (13f/36r) and EK Quadra-X ring 520SRX Gold chain (78p) from Magic racing (local shop) for about $90 as a kit.

Thanks jimmypsp700. I called them today and ordered an o-ring chain and sprocket kit and they quoted me $75.00 to my front door. I cant believe it. Half the cost of the local dealer. I bookmarked their site. Thanks again.

Great man. Glad i could help.

Its a good mx store that also has ads in Dirtwheels and other mags and the web site, sometimes which has different prices.

I get my tires mounted etc there and they have a good variety of riding gear , oils and other products at a reasonable price.

I'm glad there local to me. Nice to go in and look around too!
