Polaris Preadator oil?
10 hours? who said that? i have had my predator for roughly two years now and i have only changed the oil once at the beginning of each season. it don't have a speedometer but i have ridden a sportsman for a year and put over 1000 miles on it in a season. so i know that i ride the predator more than that. so i get roughly 1000 miles out of an oil change. and i do everything...from trail riding....to just putting around...all the way up to wound out 80 miles an hour. so i don't find it necessary to change the oil every 10 hours. i will ride for 10 hours straight sometimes. so yeah.

lol.......its actually more like 10hrs for the racer.....and 20-25(or until just black in color)......for the regular man.
Make sure you don't bring your quad this way to sell it........don't want anyone getting that thing.....believe me man, you need to change the oil more often that that......only makes sense......the tranny, clutch, and engine(piston, crank, cams, etc) all use the same old oil......so any metal filings off of gears and the clutch......going right into the motor, eventually........especially if you don't keep a good filter.

dude...you are still way off with 25 hours. i got the service manual sitting right in front of me right now and the "periodic maintenance chart" that polaris itself put in the book (remember, polaris makes the predator) says that you should change your oil every 100 hours or 1000 miles, whichever comes first. and you should only change your filter when you change your oil. i know that i follow these quidelines and my machine still runs like a champ to this day, so i must be doing too much wrong. and don't worry about anyone else getting my machine, i'm not selling, not selling for a very very long time.
