Hey guys I want to pick your minds about my motor is worth. Its a 98 Sport 400 motor that I bought for a project and lost interest in. It has the following:

Fresh Top End with a Wesico Piston .20 over
Head was resurfaced
new seals and gaskets throughout
new water pump impeller and seals
new counter shaft bearings
new crank bearings
trued crank
fresh reeds
HPD Oil-Injection Block off Plate

All the work was done at a Polaris dealer so its all perfect and ready to bolt in and run. Its spotless all the casses were diped to remove dirt and grime and the cylinder was bead blasted. Dont Know if Im going to part with it yet just curious of what you guys think its worth?

 

You should get $600 to $750 for it.

 

i guess $1000 or even over,welding those crank cost some cash and new crank bearing is priceless...

Tough to say. The 98 back motors won't fit on the concentric frame. You will have to change the housing on the mag side so the coolant inlet will not rub the frame.

 

Ive seen them go upwards of 800 on ebay for a nasty *** motor that the seller knew nothing about.
