Default Cyclone just wont start!

Well, my Polaris cyclone wont start,I am getting gas coming from the gas line, when I undo the nut on the bottom of the carb, gas starts coming out, so it is getting gas there, The main jet, slow jet, needle and seat have been cleaned, I have tried to move the needle for the throttle assembly, I have moved it that the needle as high as it can go, and then as low as it can go and still no luck, My floats are floating. then one day I decided to go out and give it a pull and I heard a little hit of gas hitting spark, so after, playing with the idle screw it started. I shut it off, then tried to start it againabout 1 minute later and it started. So i went out the next day to take it for a little spin, and it wouldnt start. No umph to it either. So I checked the spark and I am getting real good spark. Put the plug in cranked it and pulled and I had absolutely no gas on the plug. So i have adjusted everything on the carb, had it off more than 10 times just to check everything over and it still wont start! Can anyone give me a little clue or somekind of idea what is wrong with it?
thank you in advance, and sorry to go on.

im asumming this is a 250 2 stroke. i've never seen one so not sure. does it have an enrichment lever (choke)? is it working right? it should be allowing extra gas to flow in the idle cicuit to help w/ starting. just a thought.

I agree, a compression check is in order.

It is a 2 stroke 250, It has a choke, but the switch is broken so I cannot use the choke. The quad was running when I bought i about 6 months ago, and I had it riding for 3 months perfectly, but i decided to take the quad apart and paint it all, clean the carb, check the piston ect. It all looked good. So I put the quad back together and now it wont start. To check compression I just put my finger over the spark plug hole?

Sounds like you need to rebuild the topend or have a leak some where. Maybe you didn't get everything tight when you put it back together. I liked to see some pics of your cyclone and drlangs trail boss, gotta love the old school two strokes. I would like to build a flat track racer out of a cyclone or old school trailboss like this one Cyclone
