Which T.V. shows do you guys get in the U.S.A. In Canada we get Dirt Trax Television.....and All Terrain Television.....Polaris put there CASH into All Terrain Television......You can tell by the sponsors which Quad the test riders like......For ex. when testing the Yamaha 4x4 they talked about the 3 wheels spinning(in 4X4) and hinted about other brands that had a much better system which LOCKS ALL 4 wheels in automaticly instead of stopping and engaging the DIFF LOCK........ If the Quad has the Diff Lock!!!!Maybe they where talking about the POLARIS AWD system.........caper...

Did you see the show a couple weeks ago where he was comparing the 2up ATV's? He did his sponsors model and was bragging it up like no other. Come to the Polaris and before he even started with the comparison he starts putting down the Polaris. After his speel he started in and actually said some positive things about the X2.

Hey Guys
Read the post and just wanted to clear the air, I am the producer of All Terrain TV and no we are not paid by Polaris. I specifically designed the show to have 5 real riders review models and give honest feedback. True there are 2 Polaris owners on the Test Pilot panel, however both are not die hards, in fact Stu is a previous suzuki lover and actually still is if you caught the King quad show. we get hundreds of emails about the Test Pilots and how unique it is to see, real guys riding these machines. We're not scripted nor paid to say anything.
Don't get me wrong, we love feedback, good and bad!!!
I can honestly tell you that our test pilots are not influenced by any of our sponsors, if you faithfully watch the show you'll see excellent constructive critisism of all bikes, and also for the record you'll notice unlike any other show to my knowledge, we give all manufactures a chance to be on the show and have a machine reviewed. we play no favorites and sponsorship is not a factor!
I am a gear head like the rest of you and understand where you are coming from, I am first a rider then a TV producer. I too read all the mags and see alliances to sponsors, it's going to happen, there is no getting around it unless you are a millionaire and spend your own money on a publication/TV show and can float with out support, but i haven't seen that yet. At the end of the day, any ATV info source, whether print, TV or web is worth while, what we all take from it and think about it is our own right!
we would love to produce the show with out sponsors, but the reality is that until my numbers come up and i can say that i am that millionaire, we will still need support to make the show hit the air. If you knew the expense to produce a magazine or TV show, that million for the record wouldn't last long. we are in my opinion the most open minded show about ATV's, we believe in the Real sport of ATVing, the Real rider and not the flash and makeup.
we tell it like it is and try to provide a source to learn and enjoy. Hopefully you tune in to ATTV and give all ATV media sources their fair shake!

well if want my thought, atv shows should be just like consumer reports. they have no sponsors at all there for they owe nothing to the mfgs they give thier professional reveiws on whats what on all the products. thats what i would beleave the most.

All Terrain TV airs Friday mornings at 10 am and 11:30am and Sunday mornings at 10am and Noon EST on OLN (channel 411)
We also air on Wild TV Friday, Saturday and Sunday, check your local listsings for exact times.
As for consumer reports, nice idea and i understand you comment but if we all want some type of programming ATV related to watch and magazines to read, this is unfortunately the way it is, having said that, i would encourage you to check out our show and let us know what you think. As i mentioned we love feedack and truly belive this is your (ATVers) show to watch. This situation is more than ironic, without sponsors there is no show, with out viewers there are no sponsors which means no show!
I like to think we are open minded enough to change what we need to and improve in areas of question, that is all that i can offer but at least we're trying and listening ;-))
