Default 2005 700 EFI coolant overflow problem

Hello all,
I have a 2005 Sportsman 700 EFI with 1000 miles on it. The problem is I ride easy or hard on it and the coolant overflow bottle fills to capacity and overflows. I tried a new radiator cap that cost me $25.00 (from the dealer), worked good for one outing and started to overflow again. The only way I can keep it from doing this is to let the quad idle till the fan comes on and goes off and then I turnoff the engine. It seems to correct the problem. After overflowing and letting the engine cool, the coolant level in the radiator neck is visable and the bottle is empty. Any ideas on this problem. I am puzzled on this situation... Radiator likely gunked up. Do a search under polaris here and will find many instances of it. (overheating)

Turn engine on and let idle for awhile. Open Rad cap and shake atv and refill the container to just under full line. Do not fill over this, it will expand. Air pockets get in the rad and it will over flow. Has it ran hot lately? Make sure your rad is clean. If its dirty it will over heat. Shake it a bunch to get rid of air lock.
