Default 350 to 400 cylinder swap

I got a 91 polaris trailboss with a fried cylinder and piston ( actually the celinder is missing due to an unfinished project) . I also have a 400 polaris motor that is bad except for the cylinder. I was wondering if the 400cylinder will work on the 350. The bolt pattern is hte same and it looks like all the other plunbing lines up also. All except the sleeve in the cylinder touches the block a little bit, I think could be fixed. Also not sure about the stroke? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

no problemo, there only one thing different separatly is the case and cylinder,,all base case are the same through the years,,only the jugs design and porting through them is change from scrambler to sport to trail blazer then finally.you'll have better power with that jug if it is a '96 or newer model.

You must use the 400 cases with the 400 cylinder . The 400 cylinder will not fit the 350 cases .

so which is it, yes or no. I don't really want to shell out money for a new cylinder.

A 400 cylinder will not bolt on to a 350 lower end .
