Hey monkey, Welcome! If you want to work and play and want all out speed and upgradability go with the 400 2 stroke, 400's are loud though. 500 scrammy is a workhorse along with a wonderfully fun and fast machine. There are a lot of people that run plows on there scrammy. They do not have a low gear which could hurt depending on the snow. Now that is a Texan talking about snow! It is a wonderfull Machine!

i plow with mine with no problems at all. some people say you shouldnt because of no low gear because of risking smokin a belt. but that will only really happen if your trying to push a wall of snow. but if your mindful of what your doing, it will plow snow just fine.
i have the cycle country setup, and it cost me about $350. i have my own winch for lifting it. it might cost a tad more for the manual lift.
i would stray away from trying to plow with a 400 because of the lack of low end torque and power that is needed to push a good amount of snow.
