Default Improved Polaris EBS?

I have a 2001 Sportsman and love it. I am looking at getting a new machine and was wondering if polaris has made any drastic improvements on their EBS system. Right now, on very steep grades, the ebs system turns my rear wheels into skis and the whole machine tends to dogtrack and slide...Sometime dangerously and I have to use natures emergency brakes (um...trees!!). I ride with a friend who has Grizzly and does not have the same problem because his EBS works on all four wheels. If anyone could let me know if they have changed or improved their system in the last six model years, it would be appreciated.

Thanks,

SprtsMNFan

Yes the the deluxe modles have Active Decent control..it engades the front and back wheels if you are going less then 15 miles hr and not pressing the gas..there are other posts here..you can search up "active" to find it them
I also have a 2001 Sportsman..and have had some of the same trouble you had going down steep hills..But I found leaving the bike in high gear stops the back wheels from locking and using the brakes works good..

tregtom, Is there a big difference between your 800 & 700? Can you bury the 60 mph speedo on your 700?

Over all there is a big difference. They have done a lot of changes in 4 years. But the in terms of ride, speed, and handeling they are about the same. I rode the 700 hard for about 900 miles with out any problems, then I got the bug to get a new one so I steped up to the 800. I hope I have the same luck with 800.
