03 Sport. 600 AWD not working, but light on

I have a 2003 Polaris Sportsman 600 Twin that when I turn on AWD, the light turns on instantly, but the front end never kicks in. It has the central hub. Anyone have any ideas?

Is the gear indicator working in the speedo? Have you changed oil in the front diff?TRy doing a search, there are many possibilities and I think they have all been covered at some time.

check it on a lift, mine works flawlessly.

Make sure you have 5 oz of the correct fluid in there.
(PPD) Polaris Premium Demand Drive (Synthetic) fluid in the front Differential
