Default 2004

I have a 2004 700 EFI that seems to run when it wants. Took it for a ride yesterday, hot light came on after a few hours, stopped and let it cool down. Went again and and light came on after a while and stopped again to cool down. Now it acts like battery is dead, no power to run fan and can't crank starter fast enough to start it. Get pulled back and haul it home, put tester on battery and it has 11.8 volts in it so put key in and starts right up. Used it for about 10 minutes this morning then go to use it again after a couple hours and nothing again, a little later it will crank fine but will not fire. Went back a couple minutes later and starts right up. It had acted like battery was bad a few weeks ago and have already replaced battery and regulator because battery was loosing water and they thought it was overcharging. Any Ideas to what could be wrong, or what to look into next?

when you had it running did you put a volt meter on the battery to see what the volts were to see if it is actually charging? should be at least 13. i would say because you only have 11 volta maybe its not not enough for efi ecm to start and main tain the bike. just like a car w/ efi if you dont have 12 volts it wont stay running or it will have no power. just my 2 cents.
