Default Decided on an 06 500 X2

Just wanted to know what people think of this deal before I sign. 2006 500 X2 with a winch and 2 year warranty. I live in Ontario Canada and was quoted a best price of $8800 plus taxes. Does this sound reasonable?
Thanks

I just purchased an 06 500EFI x2 last month. Like you I live in Ontario (Brantford). I paid $11500 OTD. That included all taxes, 2500 winch, 26" aluminum rims and bounty hunter tires, and a glacier plow. If you get the x2 you will be very happy with it. If you want to read the review I wrote up about the quad: http://atvquadsquad.com/eve/forums/a...4/m/5701019373

In my opinion, this is one of polaris's best products and the 06 is the best deal on the market right now.

Not from my perspective. Out the door price in Chattanooga, Tennessee is $6,283 US. Link to Polaris of Chattanooga

GuitarPicker, thank you for your response, however it's just not a fair comparison US to Canadian. As for the price difference between a regular 500 and a two up, I feel that $6-700 is a small price to pay for the extra versatility and possibly not having problems with the authorities about having two people on the quad at the same time.

The '07 X2 is 800cc, sure you don't want to wait for the larger engine?

No, the 500 will be just fine for any of the riding I will be doing. It will be easier on fuel, insurance and not to mention a proven performer(not to say the 800 isn't). Besides, I just can't justify the extra initial cost of the bike itself, and the incentives on the 06's are hard to beat right now!

A good deal is hard to pass up. I'm sure you'll be happy with the 500.
