Default 39pwk or Bigger carb?

I have a 39PWK carb on my HPD Race Mod engine. I was wondering if it could handle a bigger carb since "fuel and air is horsepower"? Or would a 42mm be over kill. All I do is drag race it so lugging it around on trails wont be a concern.
Thanks!

stick with the pwk,or you can get the another version is 'race' use only, there is no more cripser and pre-atomized carb than that one...

Aaen and HPD both have bigger as well as Packard enterprises. Most of the really high RPM dragracers have done different out of frame pipes and big carbs to handle 8000 rpms. Talk to Darryl at HPD he'll help you out or call Ted Packard I know guys running 44 and 48 mm Lectrons on Alky.
