To change the left spark plug do u need to take out or move the fuel tank or can u get at it by removing side cover?

my guess is to remove cover. you would not to remove gas tank. just take a peak to find the best way.

I remove both side covers, you can access it from both sides but I break it loose then use a short piece of rubber fuel line pushed on the plug to remove and reinstall it from the left side. Blow out any dirt before you break them loose....

i used a 1/4 inch ratchet with a 3/8 adapter and a spark plug socket. it fits in there if you wiggle it just right. ive heard it was a pain, just takes the right stack of tools.
some sparkplug sockets are different lenghts, so it helps to have one or twelve to try.
good luck!
