souns like the electrical got wet. start w/ the spark plug to see if its getting fire and work backwards thru there. checking each electrical area like the coil to the stator if need be.

I am not getting no spark to my spark plug. How can u tell if it is the cdi, ignition coil, or the stator? Which one is more frequent to go bad? And also has anybody on here ever owned or rode a polaris trail boss 250 r/es. It is a 2 stroke. How is it?

thaks,
Blake

I just bought one a week ago, waiting on a drive belt but other than that $200 isnt too bad of a deal for these. Hopefully i will get alot of use out of it. If he ran it through a puddle i would check the stator.
