My wife and I had a couple of 98 Lakotas and we liked them pretty well, but they have no grease fittings and after a couple times crossing cold streams in hot weather the suspension squeaked on both quads. Pretty aggravating and not a thing you can do. I can only guess what damage is done inside the joints and fittings that you can't fix.

My 99 Scrambler 500 has 13 fittings and it takes me about 10 minutes using my air grease gun to lube it. And like someone said in a past post, lubing your quad regularly is a good opportunity to examine everything and spot potential problems.
