Why would his argument not hold water just because he drives a Nissan? You realise he is talking about 4 wheelers not SUVs.

Polaris has to be pretty good considering i flipped my bike off a bridge into 6 feet of water dragged it out pulled the plug out cranked the water off the top of the piston and then drove 3 miles home with water in the base. That was last year I've put 2000 miles on since then and my bike acts as though it is still Brand new other then the steering. It's pretty fun driving around honda's stuck in the mud too although sometimes it's annoying cause you have to go in deeper mud to get around them but ah well what funs a bike if you don't put it through it's paces.
99 Sportsman 500 swamped twice still going strong.

If it's mechanical it's not going to run forever, you will need to buy replacement parts for it.
Sorry to burst your tire but if honda made thier machines that well built thier would be no honda.

You've just proved how much superior polaris is compared to honda.
Like I've said in an earlier post the rubicon was merely a feble attempt by honda to make a machine of the polaris sportsmans' stature.

LONG LIVE POLARIS!!!

Yes any machine can break but some can be enginered stronger then others, and yes the sportsman is good thing because if it would not have come i am sure the ruby and others would not have been developed to compete and the sportsman does have great performance in all conditions.
