Default Heel Clicker results

Someone asked me to do a before and after on Heel Clicker with my 28" Mudzilla's on my 800. These results are with the stock clutch springs and all the weights at 4.5 grams, this is what Floodrunner recommended as a starting point. Here it is:

Before- Primary clutch start squeezing the belt @ 1600 RPM's
After- 1450 RPM's

Before- Primary clutch stopped squeezing @ 4800 RPM's
After- 4250 RPM's

Before- High range, 2wd, wet pavement, no wheelie
After- 3" wheelie for about 3 secs.(same conditions, actually sprinkling now)

Oh yeah, BTW this is with a 2 winches, rear bumper, front brush guard....nevermind you can read my signature to see what is on it. Plus, I am 300lbs. (also added weight of my recovery tackle in the front box, ropes ****** blocks.etc...)

Feedback is welcomed and encouraged!

Hatfield and McCoy tomorrow, do you think I'll sleep tonight?

HC kits are by far the best for polaris. I've tried them all in my sp500. EPI, Dalton, Highlifter, then I went to the HC. Best move I made!

Instigator,

What exactly came in your hc kit for your 800 and what did it cost you? I talked to hc and they said the weights are basically all that is used in the 800 as the primary spring and secondary is fine soooo it should be cheaper than the price I see that includes all the replaced primary and secondary springs etc.

you said flood got it for you did he sell you a used kit or was it new? i know a while back he mentioned to me about becoming a dealer for these. just wondering what the price is and if he got the dealership for them. any one know?? from what ive read and heard is bascily all you use is the weights and the adjustable screws that go in the weights to tune it, correct?

Floodrunner I believe is a dealer. I paid $175 plus $5 S&H. It wa a new kit. It has all the "starting point" settings from a scrambler to the 800. Kit includes: white spring, orange spring, silver spring, flyweights, and bolts, which are used as weights. I put just the flyweights in, with three bolts per flyweight. I tried to get just the weights from Floodrunner, Uh...NO! I thought about calling Heel Clicker and "SAYING" that I lost my flyweights, but by the time I decided to get it, I didn't have time to hymn hall around! I payed for it last Friday and the USPS man made me happy on Monday!

OBTW, Yep, I love it so far

This train is leaving in 5 hours for H/M, Dang only 5? I better go, so I can get some beauty sleep, I want to look good on the trails

Update: I LOVE IT. I notice no loss of low end torque, with 28's and the H/C. This thing is bad to the bone!

Read my new thread on what broke though!

Oh yeah, BTW, I forgot to mention that it EASILY pulls wheelies on good traction. Also, while riding the trails a dip or a tiny hill will pull the front wheels if you gas it, even at speeds of 20-30 MPH.

No good mud testing though. Engine smoking and quad put away before we found the mud pits!
