Default scrambler 400. need help asap

ok, i have been asking alot of questions about my quad because it smokes and has fouled the plug. well yesterday the oil light came on for about 20 seconds and went off. well today i started it up and had it running for maybe 4 minutes and my oil light comes on again and stays on for about 40 seconds or so. i shut the machine down and kept the key on till the light went off and started the quad and got it back to the house. even though the oil light was on it was still smoking blue smoke. what causes the oil light to come on? i really don't want to blow this quad up over something stupid. Thanks alot for the help

You are running out of 2 stroke oil....put some in it. The oil tank is right in front of the quad...little plastic cap...try and find out what kind of oil was being used before you put any in it.

That's the thing though. there is oil in the tank. it is showing about half full. what else would trigger the oil light if anything? Thanks

well, this one is missing the top half screens over the lights. so then the light bulb beside the one that indicates bright lights is the oil light? Thanks
