Hey all

Have not had my TB to long at all and got to reading some replies here, especially one about someones TB not having tranny fluid in it.

Anywho I checked mine when I got home from work. First what a bitch to get the little dipstick out, it was tighter than...we won't go there.

Next I had a flashlight but could hardly see any oil on it and had to use a piece of dowel to make sure beacuse it is almost clear in color. Is Polaris fluid supposed to be clear like this.

Last, it was where it was safe on the dipstick, but what is the proper fill level, the book really sucks anyone know or explain to me easier?

Still trying to learn, it is only a TB, but it is mine and still cost me so I want to learn to maintain it as well as I can. thanks

IAJack

That was me. It says to keep it between the lines, so that's where I keep it. Although when your trying to fill it(this is real fun), it comes up real quick, so then you hafta rock the machine back and forth and up and it's side to get the excess fluid out. I couldn't tell ya what color it should be is, but the 8 dollar quart of synthetic stuff I bought to fill it with is a clear-purplish color, and it is hard to see. Don't feel bad about having just a TBlazer. I love mine, and for the price, ya just can't beat it.
