Hey guys I know this is the polaris forum but i have a polaris and I wanna go riding lol, when does hunting season end in new york so i don't have to worry about getting shot up. Im pretty impatiaint right now, just trying to figure it out to get an idea of when it ends. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

i know what you mean i dont go at all during deer season for that very same reason extra on sundays(no hunting allowed). to worried about a stay bullet. (the main reason i gave hunting up almost got hit by one). i would go to your state web sight and look up the inland fisherys(at least its called that here) to see the dates of starting and stopping or your local town should have law books.

All -

I don't know how informed you
all are on State sponsered hunts
for Wildlife (namely deer) but at least
in Maryland (where I am from) its county
based on Sundays. Our state is broken into
2 regions, A and B . Region A covers
western and parts of Northern Maryland.
Region B covers central, southern and
Eastern Shore Maryland.

All but like 3 counties are allowed to
hunt on Sunday's but JUST during the
Rifle Hunt not Muzzlerloader (Black Powder)
or Bow Season. More or less decided on
Deer populations if Sunday's are permitted.

Yes, check your DNR web site for your state and
read all the details in the Hunting sections.

All i know is i wanna ride and i can't lol. THe website for hunting in new york kinda sucks to.

 

i think i ought to know wheather i can hunt on sundays in my own state or not and you cant for any sort of hunting. unless your tracking a deer short the day b4 and then only bring a knifew not a gun. just call your local game warden to find out if you can or cant.
